Our love story
Our love story started in New York, back in August 2015. Vivek came to celebrate his birthday with his best buds, and during the visit, took some time to have dinner with Ruchi at one of her favorite restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen.
Neither one of them knew what to expect but were pleasantly surprised when the conversation carried itself with ease for over 3 hours...and both couldn’t wait to see each other again. They spent more time together that weekend, and by the end of it Ruchi had told one of her friends “I think he’s the one.” Vivek also found himself telling his friends about how amazing Ruchi was and how he thought there was something special brewing!
The rest of the time Vivek was “courting” Ruchi (as she likes to put it), they flew back and forth between SF and NY and spent time with each other’s friends and families. Six months later, Vivek proposed in Carmel, CA (hey, when you know, you know!) and the rest, as they say, is history!
